Welcome to

Well to start, our dogs live with us in our home. We are not a kennel! We do not have a "facility" specifically for our dogs. They are family and live with us in our home. They are loved and cared for like our children... They play with us and snuggle on the couch while we read stories to our kids. They have their own toy boxes in different areas of the house. Currently we have four dogs. Ariel are our only breedable female at this time. Be sure to check out her page! Aside from breeding, we also participate in Dock Diving and Therapy work. Therapy dogs are dogs who go with their owners to volunteer in settings such as schools, hospitals and nursing homes. From working with a child who is learning to read to visiting a senior in assisted living. Therapy dogs and their owners work together as a team to improve the lives of other people. Ariel and Dunkin are currently training to become a Therapy team.​

We feed our dogs a nutrient dense, high protein diet of Fromm dog kibble along with fresh food included with every meal. They get plenty of exercise running and jumping around our property. Did you know that Golden Retrievers were originally bred to retrieve shot ducks and geese during hunting and shooting parties?! They were named "retriever" because of their ability to retrieve shot birds undamaged. Golden Retrievers have an instinctive love of water too! (Obviously, right?!) Although we don't bring our dogs hunting, we do like to give them plenty of exercise playing fetch and swimming. These dogs are pretty remarkable and so fun!​​​

All of our litters come from sires and dams that have their hips registered with the Orthopedic Foundation of Animals (OFA) and are free from genetic hip disease. Their eyes are certified by an ophthalmologist, clearing them of any inherited eye disease... They have their heart certified by a cardiologist, screening for any abnormalities and cleared of cardiovascular disease. We only breed dogs with all of these certifications! ​

 

Our litters are born in our home. All of the PGR puppies are handled with love at an early age. We begin socializing them before they can even open their little eyes! All of the Platinum Golden Retriever puppies have complete and thorough examinations by our veterinarian at about 7 weeks of age. They are guaranteed to be in great health when they leave our home. We do not sell our dogs for breeding purposes. Pups are to be spayed or neutered before reaching reproductive maturity. We only breed our females with outstanding males to produce the perfect Golden Retriever puppy!
